Alex is a member of the US Men's National Team.
Alex grew up in Montogermy County, MD. In 7th grade, he was named to the US U16 Junior Men's National Team. He eventually moved up to the U21 team, and in 2012 he was selected for the Senior National Team. Since 2012, he has competed in world level tournaments including the Pan American Games, Hockey World League, and Pan American Cup. Alex also played 4 years of college soccer for Franklin & Marshall College. After graduation, Alex joined the Men's National Field Hockey Team in San Diego at the Olympic Training Center from 2013-2018. Over his 9 years on the team, he has accrued 71 international appearances. Alex began coaching field hockey at 18. In San Diego, he worked with the Poway Mystix FH Club U14, U16, and U19 teams. Alex also ran his own youth FH club, the Chula Vista Chupacabras. He was also an assistant coach for the US Men's U16 and U19 Junior National Teams. In 2018 Alex briefly joined the coaching staff at Rutgers University. Alex is now the volunteer assistant coach at American University, and is working full time as a mechanical engineer. Alex is excited to grow the game of field hockey in DC by giving girls and boys of all ages and skill levels a place to have fun and learn while playing field hockey! |
Leonard is a multi-talented business leader with vast experience across many disciplines. After graduating cum laude from the Howard University School of Business with a degree in Marketing, Leonard spent two years as Financial Analyst in the Investment Bank at JP Morgan Chase from 2000-2002.
In May of 2002 he had the fortunate opportunity to play six years in the National Football League with The Washington Football Team, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans. During his NFL tenure Leonard continued his focus on professional business development with a commercial banking internship at United Bank(DC), a mortgage banking internship at United Wholesale Mortgage(MI), and a real estate development internship at Banneker Ventures(DC). After retiring in 2008, Leonard accepted a full time position as Sr Project Manager and Financial Analyst with Banneker Ventures. After one year at Banneker Ventures, he accepted the position of Real Estate Development Manager at the Warrenton Group. In 2013, Leonard entered the ranks of entrepreneurship full time focusing on building Perfect Performance and growing his personal multi-family real estate portfolio |

Morgan grew up in Howard County, MD, and played college field hockey at Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, Morgan was a four-year starter and two-year captain, making 67 career appearances and leading the team from the defensive line. During her career, she earned All-Ivy 2nd team honors and was named the Class of 1948 Scholar-Athlete Award Winner. Upon graduation in 2018, Morgan returned to Maryland to start her career in software development and also serve as an officer in the US Army Reserves.
Prior to Dartmouth, Morgan was captain and four-year starter for Glenelg High School, garnering honors as Harrow Sports/NFHCA High School All-American Third Team and two-time selection for the Washington Post All-Met First Team. Outside of school, Morgan trained with a local club team for seven years in addition to the USA Field Hockey Futures program. Taylor played NCAA Division 1 Field Hockey at Columbia University. While at Columbia, Taylor was a constant in the midfield playing in 64 games, and was named team captain as a senior.
Taylor is originally from Sayville, New York where was a four-year varsity starter at Sayville High School. During her high school campaign she was a 2x All-State and All-Long Island selection, and a 3x All-County selection She was also Long Island's highest scorer during her her Junior season. Grace was a four year goalie for Princeton Field Hockey. With an extra year of eligibility due to COVID, Grace went on to play her graduate season at Duke. While at Princeton Grace won two IVY League Championships in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, Grace was a part of Princeton's team making it to the NCAA National Championship.
At the high school level, Grace was a four-year varsity starter at Georgetown Visitation, where she was named Washington Post All Met 1st Team. |
Stephen grew up in Barbados, and has been playing hockey for approximately 22 years. Growing up in the Caribbean he has been a multisport athlete since an early age, playing cricket, soccer, and eventually found the beautiful fast-paced game of field hockey.
In Barbados, Stephen learned the art and Caribbean flare of the sport at Combermere Secondary which has the oldest club history for playing field hockey as well as being known for developing and producing some of the best players on the island and Caribbean region. He was a reserve member of the Barbados U21 Pan American hockey team in 2004. Stephen has been an active duty member of the United States Army since 2010 and that strength as well as discipline is evident when he plays. During his current active duty career he still played at the club level in the Northeast region maintaining his love for the game when his career allowed time. He is currently stationed in the Virginia area which brought him closer to an area where he could balance work and playing. Maura played NCAA D1 Field Hockey at American University where she had a stellar career. Maura started and played in every single game while at American . Maura helped American to two Patriot League Championships.
Maura is originally from Lehighton, Pennsylvania where she played three years of varsity field hockey at Lehighton Area High School. Maura was names team MVP in 2015 and 2017. Maura was named the 2017 Times-New player of the year. Asim Siddiqqui grew up in Pakistan playing Field Hockey throughout his childhood. He played in his first international game against Holland at just 14 years old and has gone on to play in numerous national and international tournaments across America and around the world, including the European Cup and World Cup Masters. He has also been selected to play in the 2018 FIH World Cup Masters in Barcelona and the upcoming 2022 event in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2019, he competed in the European Championship in Krefeld, Germany.
In addition to playing, Asim has been coaching for the past 20 years at various clubs, high schools, and field hockey camps. Asim is very passionate about sharing his knowledge of the game and helping others to develop their skills and grow as players. |
